Title: Dome Model M adding [ and ; ?

I have a few dome style Model Ms. I hooked one of them up yesterday and randomly, it would add [ or ; in whatever text box the curser was sitting.

I did not have to be tying, it would automatically add them. However, every time I hit the P key, it would always insert one or the other.

Anyone have any ideas on troubleshooting this?

I've had that happen with rubber dome keyboards before. Pretty much dead at that point.

you should bolt mod it and take a look at the membrane.

Fortunately the plate, membrane and barrel frame (as well as the controller, case and LED's) are the same as the buckling spring version, so they are all replaceable

If you like I'll take pictures from when I bolt mod mine.
