Thats the cleanest keyboard i have ever seen

First Thank You for the find!
Are the keys one piece or two? I'm asking because of the few blank keys on the left.

It should clean up fairly easily. Hopefully the plate isn't rusty. Even if it is rusty its not a big deal to paint.
-
is it yours? I got the impression you clean all your keyboards really well.
In any case it needs way more than 'a little cleaning'. I think it needs hours of cleaning...
;D ;D ;D
btw fohat have you ever dyed your keycaps purple before? I tried and totally, totally failed. Seems as though the pigments just won't adhere. I have mixed successes with different colors.

eBay should remove auto-bidding. It's so damn annoying...
I will have a Model F. Someday...

That is actually very clean for an F-122. Don't expect one much cleaner.
Those pristine beauties that poxeclipse had last spring were way out of the ordinary.

post #14 here is pretty impressive work.

If that was my F-122 I would do the entire ANSI-Teensy thing and sell it for a much higher price.

eBay should remove auto-bidding.
Anybody who uses ebay without sniping is shooting themselves in the foot and wasting time and energy getting their hopes up.
You deserve to be disappointed. Don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

Figure out the max you will pay. Enter the amount. Walk away.

Please don't punish my ignorance with insults. -_-
Maybe I'm just not up on the latest eBay updates. Last time I used eBay, there was no such thing as "auto-bidding"...

I'm sorry. When I got serious about buying on ebay about 2004, sniping was well-established.
Allowing Auction Sniper (my fave, there are several) to post your bid during the final minute of the auction allows you to take your best shot without participating in, or fueling, a bidding war. When buyers get emotional about a desirable item, they can sometimes overbid. Good for sellers, bad for buyers.
Bottom line is that if you have the high bid you win, otherwise you don't, but there is a lot to be said for not tipping your hand until it is absolutely necessary.
Do what prdlm2009 says, snipe early with your best price, and forget about it. If you win, you can be sure that you got the best price, and it will only cost you pennies for the sniping fee, and only if you win.

Hmm... sounds like I'll have to re-learn eBay.
Thanks fohat.

Really? I thought it looked really yellow compared to the ones that sold for $170

Sorry did not mean to be insulting! I should not have been so blunt.
I just wanted to share my strategy for not fretting about the bid snipers. I am not a fan of that method, either, but some people have more cash to burn (or are more comfortable with credit card debt) and they are willing to pay almost anything for the keyboard they want.
-
No worries, I get it now :)
Curse me and my taking things personally -_-

These don't really yellow. For whatever reasons, they are almost always filthy. If you are too prudish to clean one like what is shown here, don't buy it.
I would consider this a "desirable" top case shell because it is unbroken. It can easily be cleaned.

Yea, it could be the lighting as well that's making it look yellow to me.

I bid like crazy and then get buyers remorse and let someone else beat me and pay more than if I never was there
