Title: [SOLD] QFR-S MX Green
Post by: Linkbane on Tue, 22 October 2013, 19:30:11
All edited. I'd like to sell my almost unused QFR Stealth with MX Greens (on my quest for a board with Clears) to anyone interested. Original packaging is included although damaged; just the board really.

I got the board for $120 before shipping, so I'd like to sell it for $95 shipped CONUS or $90+shipping outside of US.

Pictures in the next post. Thanks for looking.

The detachable cable. Quite flexible, and made of some tough synthetic material.

Do you mean the Leopold FC660M? I don't think Qtan still sells the FC200R.

If you find greens tiring then you will probably also find clears tiring.

55 vs 80g, and it's just a choice. If I don't like it, I can always change out. They're tiring because I put a lot of strain on my fingers from things other than typing.
I'm just trying to sell a board.

having used both, I feel that clears are indeed lighter than greens unless you insist on bottoming hard (which you already said you don't).

Clears are also a lot more silent.

I think your best bet lies in a trade, since prices for secondhand greens are not that good. Seems that many people really do not like them enough to pay more. Unfortunately, most users who have clears prefer to hold on to their clears.

Yeah, there's been a bit much trolling in this thread, a trade would be fine. If not, someone could snap it up and I'd have most of the money for a Leopold.

Stop trolling in a classified. 25g difference is huge.

Do you have all the warranty paperwork in case this needs to go in for repairs?

How long is the warranty good for from time of purchase?

I'd love to try out MX greens next and you seem like a really nice guy to do business with, but I just don't think I can justify getting a new board right now.  I'm hoping greens will cost less in the future as they become a bit more popular.  GLWS!

Thanks a bunch, hope things go well, and if you need a Green, I might still be available!

I would think best you could do is $25-30, probably closer to $30 first class USPS.

Checked USPS website using roughly the dimensions I have, and I would be able to send it for $20 first class to Australia.
I can ship faster, but it's not my pocket.  :D

how much weight are you factoring in?
Title: Re: WTS QFR Stealth MX Green
Post by: rowdy on Thu, 24 October 2013, 17:21:45
That's actually very cheap - the next cheapest I have seen a keyboard ship from US for is around $50.

As SpAmRaY said, did you factor weight in?  This QFR I have here is pretty weighty ...

And green switches are even heavier :))

I estimated the weight to be about 1.5 lbs, but it's actually about 2 lbs. However, the first class allows up to 4 lbs. Let me check and see the price in a bit.
EDIT: Says it's low-$20's now. $24 at the store.

In that case consider me interested, but I won't be in a position to pay until next month.

If you want to keep it listed for sale until then, I am willing to risk that someone else will buy it during the meanwhile.

You're definitely a reputable buyer, so I would be quite happy to sell to you. I'm new to this though, should I just send you an invoice on paypal?

Unless someone offers me either more than the listed price (at least $10 more) or can physically meet me, I'll hold it if you're sure that you can pay.

Normally we would agree total price including shipping (currently looks like $90 + $24 = $114), and you would PM me your PayPal address.  I transfer the money.  When you see it in your account, you ship the keyboard.  It usually takes around 3 weeks for something to get from US to Australia, then I post some pictures :)

Would have been all over this, before I noticed I can get a QFS with greens at a local shop for $110 retail. Pay day tomorrow wee!!

GLWS! Hope rowdy is able to get it.

Man, I wish that I could get mechanical keyboards past the most obvious gaming brands at my store. The most I saw were QFR, Logitech, iOne, and a Corsair. None of which are particularly attractive to a typist besides the QFR.

Well, to be fair, I'd consider CM as part of that obvious gaming brand offering. Store carries the obvious Razer, Thermaltake, Corsair, Das Keyboard, Steelseries, etc... It's not like they carry Ducky or Filco, or some of the other exotic ones. I can order those other ones from a Canadian place (NCIX), but the finer choices are still at keyboard-centric sites or, through classifieds here.

Man, they offer Das and Steelseries? The Fry's I go to has received great disapproval in comparison. If I could get a Das at my store, I'd just go ahead and buy an Ultimate and never worry about buying a Ducky.
I was thinking that CM is pretty common, I just found it a little rarer that they'd have a more expensive switch which isn't too popular. Very jealous of Canada.

Anyone know how long PayPal gives you to pay an invoice?  Like does it timeout after a week or something?

I usually pay my invoices there and then, but this time I'll have to wait a week until 1st November.
