And mouse too. Pretty sure it's the G80 version, although I am sure Ivan or others could confirm this with actual knowledge. I am tempted by this myself but its expensive for me for a keyboard I can't use.

Yes it is the Cherry made G80 variant. There are some pretty simple converter to bring these into the 21st century if you want to use them on modern PC.

You say "simple"? ... Everything is relative. ;)

I know of one for the Arduino Leonardo (http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=139358.0) and  one for the Cypress' EZ-USB (AN2131) chip (http://ezhid.sourceforge.net/amikbd.html).
Do you know of any other?

Yep that leonardo one was what I was thinking of. It's no more challenging that doing a soarers converter.
