Title: Best Gaming Laptop? (within my Budget)
Post by: Gunni on Mon, 28 October 2013, 23:29:46
Hello Everyone,

Basically I want a good laptop to do several things on, including playing games, I mainly play Minecraft. I already have a decent gaming desktop, but I want a laptop for the portability. What do you guys recommend?

I don't mind buying from a good eBay seller. If you do infact find a good eBay listing then I'd rather you PM me the link so other people can't get in first! I'm located in Australia so I only really want to buy inside of my country. I've been mainly looking at Asus, what other brands should I be looking at? My budget is $900.

Cheers!

with $900.. probably look into getting a used one, because the specs will be MUCH higher...

It doesn't have to be a GAMING laptop from asus..  It could be a workstation laptop from Dell.. specs are the only thing that matters.

The only other thing you have to look out for is reviews on whether the unit has problems with "Overheating"

The thing is I couldn't really find a good 'Used' eBay listing inside of Australia.

I don't care what brand it is, as long as it's UNDER $900 and will play games well.

Recommendations? :)

keep an eye out on the manufacturer outlets.. like dell outlet... hp outlet.. etc..  it's all online

there's not point in any "specific" recommendation.. because the specs will vary by availability.. it would be impossible to tell you to go shop for xxxxx, because the wait could be forever...

If you play starcraft... prioritize the CPU..

If you play battlefield 3/ 4... prioritize the CPU..

If you play ANYTHING ELSE... prioritize the GPU..
