Title: Question about ordering click clacks (sorry :P)
Post by: HPE1000 on Wed, 30 October 2013, 15:11:21
So I am pretty much a noob when it comes to a lot of these special keycaps so bear with me.

On elitekeyboards, am I allowed to enter the raffle on one of each click clack, or can I only choose 1 to enter for? I know entering for the same one multiple times is not allowed, but could I say, enter for a drunken skull and a gummyrot?  I entered for one and would like to know if I am allowed to enter for some of the others.

Thanks people  ^-^

You can enter once for each one.

You can only enter once for each model, but you can enter for all the models.

Yay! Hopefully I can at least get one, I would adore a green gummyrot skull. And if for some crazy reason I win all of them, then I am broke  :))

Quoted directly from the rules of the drawing (of which there are only 3...):
1. One drawing entry per person (per keycap model). Efforts to "game" the system will likely be noticed and disqualified (as will any other entries to other drawings that we can reasonably tie to that person for the foreseeable future.).

Don't worry, if you were to win them all you would get over double the amount back from selling the ones you don't need hehe

Yeah, I am super paranoid and usually require a second opinion on things like this.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to doing that, I would only trade them. I don't want to be "that guy"

There's a simple questions thread in the future if you want to ask quick questions like this. Additionally, there's info in the Clack Info Thread (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=39794.msg783988#msg783988).

i wonder if applying for every single one of them makes you look like a flipper and they quietly disqualify you... :/

Nope - you are allowed to enter the drawing for one of each different Clack.

But only one entry per person per Clack.

So a maximum of 8 entries for you.

lol, I know.  It's something I would probably do if I wanted to screw with flippers though.

I always enter for all of them, and I never win any of them.  Good luck though.

EK could care less what you do with them after they are delivered.

If they cared about people making money off of them, they would charge more than $26.

Exactly.  As much as I loathe the Clack flippers, EK doesn't care since it's money in the bank either way.

For $26 you can get almost three complete sets of DS keycaps.  (Tai Hao - see the relevant GB.)

Personally I'd prefer a Clack!
