It is an unique piece.  Not many PCBs allow both ALPS and MX switches.

I never tried this nor heard anyone did this yet, but can a board have MX AND ALPS soldered together? :D

Hmm, always wanted a nice home for my old blue and green Alps.  Really not a fan of the big Enter key on my Minitouch.

That's a good looking board.

I don't know a lot about this board but I'm guessing the riser is that giant slab of metal on the back?

Yeah, that's the riser. It rises angle of the case from 7 to 11 degrees.
