Title: console controller usb adapters

anyone have any experience with nes/snes/n64/gc to usb adapters. trying to relive my child hood here and about to pick up some. Mainly just seeing if anyone knows of things to stay away from. I have actual controllers here for all the systems so i would like to use them.

I cant pick them up on amazon all but an NES adapter for around 37 dollars, thoughts? I dont want to mod the controllers i currently have, just saying

Most of my experience with regards to many adapters that I have used is that they introduce input lag. I notice it more because the original nes connected to a crt.

You have to mod the controller internally to reduce the input lag created by the adapter taking so long to process and converter the input commands.

you can always build an nes adapter yourself if you have a spare half hour or so

iirc i think sega and such will work the same way. just need to adjust code slightly for the extra buttons
