I read thru this forum with basic OEM keyboard and i think i am on the market to one.
I don't do games.
I do lot of coding. Thinking to get HHKB but bit discourage with the $$$ and looking for other alternatives.

Welcome to GeekHack! If you like the formfactor of the HHKB but not the price, maybe you can try out the Poker 2! It's not Topre but it is cheaper.

The pokers are great for coding if you don't mind the arrow keys being in the function layer.

Theres also the leopold fc660 (http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=leopold,compact&pid=fc660mneb) with arrows keys.

Funny things is that I was thinking about Poker 2, FC660 or Keycool. Another thing that i still need to figure out is what color of cherry i would be comfortable with.
