Guys... Clears are NOT all they're hyped up to be.. so.. just a heads up..

They're good... and familiar.. but overall.. after typing for a long long long time...

I honestly find the tactile bump unnecessary.. I don't make more mistakes with or without it..

Clears are the best switch ever made so all I need now is an ergodox to put them in.

Nice try SpR... I've converted to "vintage" blacks.. (http://www.cute-factor.com/images/smilies/onion/069.gif)

Yes I know vintage is BS... but I concur it makes it sound m0re c00L

If you can't find a board with clears you can always find a board with the looks you like and swap out the switches.  Clears can be found here (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_list&c=43).

i use thick orings.. so my travel is only right beyond actuation ~2.5mm

To Clarify:

I am not making the statement that blacks are > than clears..

It was a philosophical decision.. Occam's razor..

How to type is the question..  I am stripping it down to the bare essentials..

The tactile response is more of an "extra". and since I neither like nor dislike it.. it is unnecessary..

I've read so...

Clears definitely need a break-in period, according to my recent experience, at least.
