I really hope minecraft doesn't kill off legos....

That is all CGI, right?  Be cool if they made the sets out of real Lego, and CGI-added the characters.  Then they could sell the sets.  Which they probably will anyway.

Lego Minecraft - already out!

well my point is... lego is tedious.. and the hands on experience isn't THAT much better than the virtual building blocks in minecraft...  also minecraft is free..

now.. it's not impossible to compete with FREE, but it pretty much brings down your pricing dramatically...

for example.. It's not impossible to sell expensive water... but it's pretty hard..

Er, well, actually Minecraft is not free.

The last free version was severely limited and is a few years old.

I can't be the only who is excited for this film. I remember making countless stop-action Lego films with Lego Studios.
