I was unlucky yet again with the EK raffle system and I would like either an MX or Topre Drunken skull.
I've been drinking for ages so it was time to learn to brew so that someday I can possibly live my dream of owning/running a brew pub. So far I've brewed a "Chocolate" Brown, insanely hopped IPA, and a Cream ale. Next up is going to be something winter seasonal. I already have an oktoberfest cap from last years sale thanks to a very kind member here and I'm hoping for something similar. My passion for beer is greater than that of keycaps, but this would hopefully someday be a crowning cap on display in a brewery.
I am willing to pay retail and maybe a bit extra in addition to sending you three four packs of my home brewed beer (I'll include a four pack of the seasonal too if that helps tip the scales). Shipping beer is not cheap, and chances are very good you have not tasted my home brew :p
The Brown has been bottled for just over two weeks (it is quite delicious), and this Sunday the IPA and Cream ale will be bottled. I intend to follow the law and this trade can only be conducted with those 21 and up.
Send me a message or post to the thread if you are interested or have questions about the beer.

It did not, merely an inquiry for non-beer items. Still searching.

With an offer like this I'm sure you won't have to wait too long... wish I won a Drunken Skull... and was 21...

Maybe we should start a beer trade thread or something.
I named the brown "Sweet Magnolia Brown" since that is part of my address and where I brewed my first beer. I added in 4oz of chocolate malt and 2oz of roasted malt to get the chocolate/coffee flavor.
I'm going to drop the dry hop into the IPA tonight, it is going to taste like citrus and passion fruit with the same aromas. It has Australian Galaxy hop as the bittering hop, then I continually hopped it with chinook throughout the entire 60 minute boil with hop shot additions at 30 minutes, 15 minutes, and 5 minutes left in the boil. I want to call it "palate stomp IPA" or something along those lines.
The Cream ale I didn't really change anything in the recipe because I wanted to make a simple session beer since I plan to make it again and want to compare the flavors.

They sound fantastic Dan. Someone really ought to take this offer up!

That IPA sounds amazing. My favorite IPAs are the citrusy ones or the ones with exotic fruit notes followed by resinous and spicy ones. Dank and floral hops I'll pass on.
-
if this is successful I might have to try your theory with homemade wine: concord, huckleberry, cherry to name a few
it'd be hard to give some of it up, but to get my first clack... /shrug

Bump. Now I feel weird with a couple threads for different things. How to pick which to abandon or come back to later....

just wondering, whats the legal ramifications of shipping alcohol across state lines?
I know there's some rules on what can be shipped and what can't.
I only bring this up because im in the shipping business so to speak.

If you do it through the right carrier and label it "yeast samples" there shouldn't be any issues

I thought you had already given up on the quest?
