They are double-boxing which preserves the original box.

That drives the shipping way up because of both size and weight.

Shipping price is partly dependent on location. I'm seeing $20 shipping to my location, for example. And as fohat mentioned, it's double-boxed to protect the original packaging, which drives up the shipping costs.

A lot of people who sell things don't enable flat rate prices because they try to get some extra money. But if you message them and let them know it will fit in a flat rate box, sometimes they oblige you and enable the option.
