Well...Just saw this article on The Verge (http://www.theverge.com/2013/11/6/5073934/microsofts-anime-inspired-internet-explorer-ad-is-its-best-yet)
The video is titled "Internet Explorer: The Anime". Have a look, and you'll shortly agree that it should be renamed to "Internet Explorer meets Sailor Moon".
Thoughts? Is Microsoft trying too hard? Do you like Microsoft's (short) animes?

Better than all the the IE commercials I've seen...
Like the look of that keyboard in the end. Why don't they make mech naturals??
-
Makes perfect sense.

When there is nothing to say about a product. You hire smart people to make up a story and hope the product placement that story will have a positive effect on people's perception.
-

-
So basically the same thing as the OS-Tans?

So, has anyone actually used IE 11 yet? How is it compared to the current browsers out there?

IE 11 comest with Win 8.1. It's pretty solid, for every day browsing it's just as good as Chrome.
However, if you do Web Dev, the tools are ... odd. They nuked old browser emulation, which makes IE practically useless.
On another note, it's crazy that Chrome is now a bigger battery hog than both Safari and IE

Well, I can't say that I wasn't entertained.

Now you got me interested in maybe considering whether to update my older Win 8 setup ::) .
Just curious to see what the current IE 11 feels like to use when it comes to shopping and banking on the net.

I think the video is awesome. I really like it.

The Japanese have been doing Microsoft Windows themed cosplay/anime/game characters for like a decade, cool that MS finally caught on.

It's still slower that chrome and firefox.
