Title: Best and Brighest LEDs for Poker 2
Post by: stancato9 on Fri, 08 November 2013, 17:25:04
Can someone direct me to the best / brightest white LEDs for my Poker 2 mod. I see the rectangle ones are super popular but I'd like a second opinion. Thanks!

I'm about to order these. Are these compatible? I know absolutely nothing about this stuff :p

Whatever you get make sure you have the right resistors.

you can get whatever cheap leds you want, but if you want the best and the brightest, you will be hard pressed to beat a cree.

Im not going to do all the leg work for you, but here, have a poke around

just as an fyi, the highpower crees are probably way too much for a keyboard. unless you want it to glow like the sun i guess.

I thought with the Poker 2 you didn't have to add resistors? I could be wrong though.

Just look for "2x3x4 color name LED" on eBay.  Most of those should be fine.
