Looking for about 200 65g, brown, blue or red springs that you may have laying around and want to sell; prefer Conus.

Hey Chemist
I can sell you springs, no prob. But you don't want the switch stems too? I have like 200 browns, mostly new, from two Cherry G80s.
Also I thought these were 45g springs. Or are you not referring to Cherry MX?
BTW I followed your advice and got the TG3 BL82 to have red backlighting, but found I couldn't control the backlight intensity. Also, the backlight would turn off if I don't use the keyboard for a while (good) but I notice it makes a weird little humming noise when backlight is turned off. Do you have any advice for that?
Thanks once again. I loved that mod. It's a cute little keyboard.

Can you post what you did to the bl82, what did you use for the 12v mod and how did you wired it?

Um, you kidding me, right? You were the guy who taught me everything I knew, and I did everything here http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=42981.0 except change the LEDs (so they are still red). So yup, I also followed your link to get the same voltage converter. There isn't anything I can add except ugly pictures of my incompetent soldering.
In fact, if you have any advice for changing select LEDs to other colors, I'm up for it. But I don't know much about these things. Just hoping to turn the keyboard into something like one of those Duckys with multiple colors on the same board.

Let's continue this conversation in that thread, but from what i can see you did not specify which direction you were going and how you wired it. If you kept the red leds and used the converter like I have listed, there should not be a problem with turning the leds on and off or the dimmer function. If you replace the leds, keep them around same voltage value 2-2.4v so that you do not have to modify the resistors on the pcb.
