Title: [WTS] Topre keycaps - dying experiments

Hey all,

So I've gone back to plain grey mods and realised they are perfection.

It's been really fun making these but they're just gonna sit in a box. Trying to recoup a little bit of cost  :))

Shipping:

Strawberry Milkshake

These were done with a long dying process, which meant they sit in dye for about 45mins. They're of very even tint and don't show any blemishes or anything. Entire set looks very uniform.

2x ESC row keys $5 for both
2x F/J keys $5 for both

Or take the whole lot rest for $23



Milk Chocolate

These were white keys that dyed quickly. I've got 2 sets, one is very tidy with no blemishes, the other has a couple of small blemishes.

1x Tidy HHKB Arrow Cluster (arrows + fn key) $12 sold
1x HHKB Arrow Cluster (arrows + fn key) $9





Will be interesting to see if anyone's actually keen on these  :))

These were a mix of long-dye and quick dye. There's a few blemishes here and there but doesn't detract from the overall impression.

question, how well do these hold up do you think from normal usage?  Any chance of rub off?

Couldn't tell ya for sure sorry man.. I think the pink ones will last really well, due to the amount of time spent dying. Not sure about the choc. I've read though heaps of the dying threads and none of them seem to mention rub off - just one of those things no one knows!

I suppose so... not sure which colour would be best to do it with, check out WFD's attempt where his black dye actually came out brown for some reason  :confused:
