Here's hoping all fellow members of GH in Philippines are safe and condolences to those lost in the typhoon. :(

Those in areas with high alert, please be safe and evacuate if needed, leave them keyboards, they can be acquired later.

This typhoon was actually was named the worst in the last 100 years, even than 2x hurricane katrina combined.

Thanks MOZ! AFAIK I know 2 active members, infinity is safe because he lives near me. Another one I haven't contact yet,
though hes not living where Haiyan directly hit.

Reports say 10,000 up feared dead and all living there are suffering from lack of food and water and is in total chaos.

I lived in the Philippines for a couple of years, in and around northern Pan-ay and Negros (right in the path of the storm).  My heart is breaking over this.  Please stay safe and evacuate where necessary, Vietnam.

I think Vietnam should have good preparation for this..  time has been on their side on this one.

My host mother imparted some wisdom unto me while I was in Japan. I was leaving for school one morning, and she told me something I will never forget.

"Isaac-san, Typhoon is coming, please bring umbrella."

Forgot to mention it before. Though you might need something heftier than an umbrella.
