Title: How thick are Ducky blank PBT keycaps?

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone who owns a set of these will reply, preferably with pictures.

I have a set of the Banggood PBT caps which I love. They are sort of medium thickness, thicker than most stock caps, but not as thick as some "thick" PBT caps I have seen posted here. I would like to try some proper "thick" PBT caps to see how they feel. I don't use a standard layout, so would like them blank, preferably in white, but black will also do.

If anyone knows of any other thick PBT blank white (or black) set please could you post it, too?

the official ducky pbt keycaps are identical in thickness to my CM storm QF stealth keycaps.

The thick pbt caps available in nordic are about as think as imsto caps I believe.

they're exactly as thin as all other keycaps you get off the shelf?


I don't have calipers, no good macro camera, nor any thicker keycaps to compare them to. :/

EDIT: yep, tried again.  nexus 4 camera refuses to focus.

Their normal pbt caps are thin, I'm currently typing on a white set with gray lasered legends.

Ducky pbt caps are thin. they're still nice to type on. :D

Hmmm.. Okay, so some Ducky PBT sets are thick and some are thin, but what I really want to know is are the blank black and white sets they sell thick or thin?

I know the two colour dyesub sets on their newer G2Pro boards are thick. I already have some medium thickness Banggood caps, but I'd like to try properly thick ones, too.

Thank you! That's what I wanted to know!

I will give these a skip, then, and maybe see if I can get some thick white blanks from feng. I must say it seems unusual that there aren't more thick blank sets around, but I guess it's a real niche market.

Yeah these are some of the thinner pbts that I've come across but they feel decent enough. An improvement over ABS I suppose
