Title: is there a 60% bluetooth cherry mx keyboard?
Post by: Jixr on Mon, 11 November 2013, 15:38:00
Looking for a bluetooth mech to pair up with an ipad

Any options?
( if its cherry mx switch type does not matter as I can swap em out if need be )

Thinking of getting a laptop, but if I got a full laptop I would end up wanting to plug in a mech since it will primaraly be a on the go photo/blogging machine.

but an ipad fits my needs, but writing on a tablet screen wouldn't work and I need a keyboard.

Apple keyboards are nice, but once you go mech, you can never go back.

there are tablets that have USB ports for mice/keyboards, but with my hackintosh and iphone and general love of OSX, I don't know how well a Android/windows tablet would fit into my workflow.

ideas?

I believe the bluetooh minila is the only 60% out right now. Here is a review: http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.php/2013/10/filco-minila-air-bluetooth-keyboard-review/

yup that seems the way to go ( a user on another site recomended it to me )

though the $200 USD price is a killer.

At keyboardco the price seems to be £100.00 ex. VAT, so should be around 160$ ex. VAT.
Or try amazon, there you can find it for around 180$ and I bet buying through amazon will be the same as buying through keyboardco or other outside US shops.

But I'm wondering how good it is to type on her and how good the bluetooth will be. I think there is a battery, isn't it? Because they must be light for numlock or other stuff that needs to be illuminated.
