I just received a Filco MJ1 TKL from another member here --
Having some issues and wanted to see what everyone thought was wrong with this keyboard. The Filco will not register with my PC during boot up (I get the "no keyboard" error message during startup). It takes multiple tries of plugging the keyboard in and out of the USB port (after my PC is booted and in Windows) to finally get the KB working. Once my PC shuts down, the issue repeats once again. At first I thought it was an issue with my desktop's motherboard (even though both my Realforce and Lenovos work fine), but the keyboard had the same problem on both of my laptops.
Any ideas what's wrong?
Thank you in advance

Yes, I realized I forgot to add that in my OP, and it's now edited. Same issue on both of my laptops.

Better to contact the seller and ask for a refund...seems like a hardware issue.

If it is a relatively recent laptop it might have "quick boot" enabled.
This is a feature required by Microsoft to make the computer boot faster, but does so at the expense of not properly initialising USB peripherals during startup.
Can you try the Filco in an older computer? Or maybe tweak the BIOS settings if it has quick boot?
