Looks like it's based on the G83-6105, though, which is rubber dome.

That's pretty sweet, though, I have never been much of a Star Trek fan. That 'board definitely looks like a scissor-switch-based one.

That pic is a photoshop, this page (http://www.cherrykeyboardsrus.co.uk/Klingon+Language-Details.htm) says it'll be a G83-6105 (http://www.cherrykeyboardsrus.co.uk/G836000+Series-Details.htm) variant.

way to appeal to the geek market.

The "rubber sheet technology for long life" feature is a little disheartening.

Of course, does the G83 use crosspoint caps?

I think this falls squarely in the "nerd" market. Don't give us geeks a bad name. :)

Looks like a Cherry eVolution STREAM (http://www.keybo.de/content/keybo.storefront/496d1fbf00c89b5e273fd43f4705063d/Product/View/1264) with scissor switches and hence sucks. Of course, if the real one will be based on G83 it'll suck too. Either way, it sucks.
