Title: Key Switch on this particular G80?
Post by: Capitalistix on Sun, 17 November 2013, 21:51:54
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHERRY-White-Stem-MX-Key-Switch-Dabok-G80-3497-LQCKO-2-Mechanical-Keyboard-/331030288759?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item4d12f15977

Im in the market for a g80 of some kind soon and I wanted to see if there were any with either MX greens or some interesting non run of the mill Red/Blue/Black/Browns available. I stumbled upon the G80-3497 which is described in this listing as having white switches. I looked on DT wiki for the description of whites and it says there are three distinct kinds that all are a bit different! =P So I was wondering what these ones feel like? It seems to be a newer board so its probly the newer type of white switch right? I love Cherry Greens but I cannot STAND blues anymore (I know kinda strange right?) So id hate to get this and have these whites identical to blues!

Anyways, if anyone could shed any light on this It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys =]

By the article number, the Q means MX Clears (except for the 1502, which has blacks)

but that ebay description is pretty set on mx whites..

After researching that, I believe you're right. I think those are actually clears. I'm gonna get one of them then =p I wonder if its been reviewed already? If not when I get it ill post one!
