Hi Guys,
I was pulling off the keys to my quickfire pro that as some of you may know does not have full backlit and I noticed that there are holes that make it seem possible to mod and place LED lights through to make the keyboard full backlit. Does anyone have any experience with this, know of a thread that outlines it or can give me any advice, I have never done a mod before but this one seems like it might be a fairly easy one to pull off,
Thanks

If you want help with this, you should go to the services thread in the classifieds and PM some of the people able to do LED modding. In essence, all you have to do is buy some specific LEDs (Find them here (http://www.maxkeyboard.com/keyboard-parts/led-lights.html)) and solder them in. However, it's apparently not easy, so I wouldn't recommend doing this to a whole board until you get some advice/practice.

You can do it but it would be tedious and very annoying for you.

Welcome to Geekhack!
Unless the PCB has LED holes already, they won't fit.
Cherry MX switches all have a cut-out for the LED, but just that does not mean the PCB will support them.
In theory if you could work out some way of connecting the LEDs without going near the PCB, you could do it, but that would be, shall we say, challenging.
