Title: Corsair Vengeance K95 or something other?
Post by: Luda on Mon, 18 November 2013, 09:39:05
Hello everyone.
I searched forum, and there is not topic or review for Corsair Vengeance K95
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Keyboard-CH-9000020-NA/dp/B00CERXJNW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
How about build quality? On the web there are some reviews, but I cannot find comaprsion in build quality, board quality, keys quality and so, comparated for example with Filco Majestouch.
Do you recomended Corsair Vengeance K95 or not? Its bulid like tank or crap like Logitech G710?
I wanted top quality keyboard with backlight and macro keys. 200 USD range. Palmrest is welcome too. Now I have 5 years Logitech G15 first model and needed upgrade.
Thanks for info.

Sorry for my English

The k95 is solid in terms of build quality and general keyboard stuff. I wouldnt suggest it if the macro keys arent the main feature you are looking for. If you dont care about the macro keys there are plenty of other options for less money.

Also, be warned that if you intend to modify the electronics of the k95, you need to be aware that doing so is a complete pain in the ass.

Ive had mine for a month or so and I dont have any complaints. Oh, the k95 will be super wobbly if you dont use the tilting feet. Who doesnt use the tilting feet though?

Since it's aluminum you can bend it the opposite way that the bend is. Happened on my K90.
Corsair makes great boards. Since it's aluminum, it feels solid and pretty nice to type on.
