If you like blacks, you might find reds are too soft - I did.
Ducky is good - if you want backlighting get a Shine, otherwise consider a Ducky Zero.
Filco are amongst the best Cherry MX-based boards, but you do pay a premium.

Duckies are amazing boards. If you don't care for the backlighting there might be a ducky board that doesn't have backlighting. The zeros from what I can now have backlighting unless you can find no backlight. If you like blacks, you might find reds are too soft - I did.

I like my blacks, but I enjoy reds a lot more. Also what's the difference between the shine 2 and shine 3?

There is almost no difference between the shine 2 and shine 3. The shine 3 has extra lighting modes and RGB space bar. There is really nothing to brag about on the shine 3 compared to shine 2. If you can find a shine 2 that would be really great if you're wanting to save a few dollars.

The DKG9008G2 Pro has thick dye-sub PBT caps, the best you can buy as many would say. They're not backlit, come with combinations of blue, gray, and white, and in very uncommon switches, including red, blue, and black, but also green (heavy click) and dark grey (very heavy linear).

There were some clears one's also. I really have been kicking myself hard for not getting one when I had the chance.

I tried to sell it once and nobody wanted it.
I've never tried filco. Any models you recommend?

Try now and see what sort of response you get!
There is Ducky Zero which has no backlighting.
There is Ducky Shine Zero which has backlighting (only blue and orange), and only a few lighting modes AFAIK.
Then there is Ducky Shine, which has lots of backlighting modes, lots of colours, and lots of switch options.
Finally there is Ducky Year of the Snake, which is a limited edition Shine 3 (more or less) with extra lighting modes and an aluminium case top.

Don't forget about the Yellow Ducks we're getting!
Yellow case, yellow medium-thickness PBT in either blank or laser engraved, Shine 3 backlighting settings, and of course, yellow backlighting.
Could have sold it to me when I was looking for clears before these bills piled up. :pDuckies are amazing boards. If you don't care for the backlighting there might be a ducky board that doesn't have backlighting. The zeros from what I can now have backlighting unless you can find no backlight.

Hopefully they have a yellow plate, haha. Not sure about the cable, though.

That would be really cool of ducky. I wish there wasn't a shortage on clears though. I would have bought a shine 3 with clears and would be my last board for at least a year and a half.
I really hope the yellow shine starts something. Imagine a red board or blue or even green! :p
Umm I just saw that vid of the yellow ducky... I DIG those lighting modes! To boot, my new computer build will have a yellow motif... I NEED this board! Do you guys know where to get it? I hope it wasnt just a GB! :x

I suspect the yellow was inspired by the average yellow rubber ducky.
And a yellow cable. No yellow cable. Orange backplate.

Dunno If youre trolling me, But I HATE blues. I never tried reds until I was at a comp USA store today and tried the QFR rapid w/reds and actually loved it! I feel like it would be great for games like League or SC for quick button presses. Strangely I usually like heavier switches, which I also feel are better suited for FPS' or games that I need to hold down a key for a continuous direction (green being my fav thus far) Im getting some clears in the mail and also plan on modding some to try panda clears =]
