				Hi everybody,
I'm designing a keyboard and I'm basing it on Cherry MX Brown.
Now, I'm concerned because I don't see the Brown being sold anywhere other than small retailers like WASD. If my keyboard becomes a product, I'll need thousands of Cherry Browns, and hopefully more.
Is Cherry MX Brown still being manufactured? Can I be confident that it's going to be around for a while?
Thanks,
Ram.

So you are designing a factory built keyboard?  Contact ZF directly.  The MOQ is huge though.

If you need switches for only a one or a couple of keyboards as a hobbyist project, then you could ask 7bit. He has done a few runs of a group buy (http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/cherry-mx-taking-pre-orders-t2760.html#p50485) of switches from Cherry and selling them to the community.
