i know this is more of a hardware forum, but i've given up hope with cm tech support or their forum. to register, you have to decipher the alphabet soup that's really hard to read.
at this moment, i'm trying to assign some browser related shortcut to the macro key, ie, ctrl + t for new tab.
can someone explain how to do it?

Don't you just use there software package?

but i can't figure out how to do it. this is what i did. i click on m1. then it gives me the option of macro and no function. so i click on macro, then it gives me the option to select a macro to assign key. from there i typed the keyshortcut in the field and it does not register. very counter-intuitive. as with most keymapping software or kensington's software, from there you just type the shortcut keys you wish to assign to the particular key and voila. with this application, it seem to do it differently.

I no longer have my trigger and only had it for a couple days, but what you described seemed to work for me.
Maybe a current trigger user can chime in with better info.

I started using AutoHotkey ( http://www.autohotkey.com/ ) and LOVE it.

ok. one more visit to the tutorial did the trick. the thing is you need to create macros first and assign name to each macro that you created before you can associate the macro keys with macro.
