Title: Thoughts on the Corsair K65?
Post by: C5Allroad on Tue, 19 November 2013, 19:34:44: How does the K65 look to you guys? It looks like a board that would be a pain to mod the switches on.

Anyway.. The k65 seems much improved.. I haven't heard any firmware complaints (sticky-key).. so lets go on faith that they fixed their matrix-ing problem with the "Hacked Kro system" on their boards.

Other than that.. the volume rocker is SOLID... in all other ways it performs identically to ANY keyboard..

Aesthetics... it's aight... you'd have some trouble with the bottom row, but I think it'd be fine if you had a few shorter keys.. the space bar... mmm you can cut and putty your own if it comes down to perfect match..

it's a no brainer bad-buy for ME; ALL of those independently are dealbreakers (i'm not into soldering to replace the switches)(well, TKL would be okay if it didn't have all the other defects).

benefits are: detachable cord, GREAT aesthetic, media keys

at this point you should get the new version cuz of the full mechanical..

You need toolbar autohide, to put it conveniently on the bottom of ur screen..

it will look like THIS... when you click open the menu, from the bottom bar [attach=2]

But with the NEW-xml file I attached, it should have all the Onion-Cat emoticons as well as the Tuzki Rabbit

Post by: nubbinator on Tue, 19 November 2013, 22:58:54: I wouldn't buy a Corsair keyboard. They're expensive for the quality and they have nonstandard modifier sizes which causes headaches if you want to upgrade to higher quality keycaps.

Corsair sells some nice products, but I wouldn't buy any of their peripherals.
