Title: Session/authentication renewal
Post by: LONGZILLA on Wed, 20 November 2013, 11:30:18
Despite selecting stay logged in forever, I find myself having to re-authenticate (login) pretty often.

Would it be possible to have the session cookie get renewed whenever Geekhack is hit?

I've been logged in on my work pc for months without having to re-login.

Perhaps something is terminating my session then, I do frequent GH from multiple computers and devices.

At work I have to log in every morning, but that's only because I use incognito mode.  At home, I only have to re-log if I need to reset my cache/cookies.

Yeah, would totally expected to have to re-login after browsing via incognito or wiping cookies. Guess I'll try to track down what occurs just prior to having to re-login

Just to add that at work and home I never have to login again.  Only once recently when I rebuilt my work PC.
