They were an option for the IBM M15 (and only compatible with those particular models, AFAIK)

Oh right, now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure I saw one in Webwit's collection.

That numberpad has a serial connection that only works with an M15. So it's be a lot of work to make it work with anything else. Did you buy that M15 that sold recently? I'd love to find one of these myself. My M15 needs is long lost companion.

Also : I doubt anyone will separate a M15 from the numberpad... Might end up costing you > $600

Thanks, but I think that is a RD or buckling rubber, or something to that effect.

Sorry for that, just saw it while I was browsing and thought I'd post it. Didn't really know what it was but thought it might be like an M2 or something

Hold on now. I think you just found me the keyboard I've been looking for for a long time. Do you know how the key press feels on this keyboard? I think it might be rubber dome/rubber sleeve, but it feels amazing to type on. Better than most rubber domes. I'm just guessing because I've typed on a similar looking board from a laptop (IBM PS/2 Model L40 SX) that I saw in a store. I've been searching for a keyboard that has the same feel ever since. It feels better than Topre imo, and that's my go-to switch. The layout looks identical enough. Do you think it'd be a far stretch to say they're the same switch type?

The pictured BS keypad is the Japanese version. What sort of connector does it have? I've never seen a picture of the connector. The keypad was designed to work with one of the Japanese boards. I recently found a picture of the board with the keypad.

Here's webwit's image of the board and the keypad.

Here are some more images. The keypad part is 65X1138. These are all webwit images.

Looks to be just a PS/2 connector. But hard to tell from the photos.
