Greetings!
I've been planning to buy my first mechanical keyboard since months and fell in love with the Corsair K70 Silver with Brown switches. It has exactly the looks I expect and want from a keyboard that costs me 120+€ and it comes with the MX Brown.
So after waiting for months until it's available in my country (Austria) I wanted to buy it finally but then I came across some threads about a common LED failure :(. Although I hate to work or play on my computer in a dark room the common LED failures have still made me hesistant to buy the K70.
I would be really grateful if someone could make any suggestions about any similar good looking keyboards that feature MX Brown switches. Maybe there is one I haven't discovered yet and stops me from buying the K70 with the hope of never experiencing dead LEDs!

If there are no any import tax and so on, I think you can get a ducky from global.pchome. They ship internationally at a reasonable price.

P/S: They are in ansi layout + some of them are having Chinese printings on the keycaps.

I wasn't very impressed when I tried a Corsair keyboard (K90), didn't feel as well made as my Filco by some way. If you want a sleek look you could try Das Keyboards, LEDs then try Ducky. I have had all three. The matias is the cheapest feeling and looking of the 3. The corsair would be better if it used PBT or better quality keycaps -- thats the main complaint and some failure with LEDs (but those are covered under warranty). I had (have) a Das and don't like though it's partly because it was a MX blue and I have yet to try a Cherry switch I really like compared to buckling springs.
The aesthetics of the corsair are superior.

Like pc said, the LED failures aren't common absolutely, they're just more common than average. if one comes in not working, it'll be covered by warranty so you can get it fixed. It uses the same LEDs as other backlit boards, so that shouldn't be the issue.
I have a Corsair (K60), the board feels really nice and sturdy, the aluminum is great and it definitely looks unique, but not obtrusive, compared to most mechanicals. I'd say if you like it for the appearance, just get it.
If the uncommon LED failure is bothering you, most keyboards will feature MX brown as options, just check some EU sites.

Well there are always other options... Ducky shine, Nighthawk X series, logitech G710+,Coolermaster, KBC race and pure, and keycool. I think that's it.

+1. You just need to make sure you get the same matching colour :P.
