Post by: NorrisB on Mon, 25 November 2013, 14:05:13
The key registers about 8 out of 10 times, is there anything that can be done to repair it?  It's a majestouch II ninja

You could reflow the solder connections to the switch and/or it's associated diode. It's probably a cold solder joint.

But if you're going this far you might as well replace the switch.

Ayup. It's not that hard to do, even if you have no soldering experience.

I bet a local IT shop will do it for you, if you ask nicely.
