perhaps now i won't be tempted to smash my M10 with my fist when I have a server that's not cooperating....
(yes, it's a real, working pause/break key! just my luck this novelty keycap was made to fit a cherry key stem!)
-
That'd be a badass escape key.
-
That's lucky. My panic key didn't come with a proper stem.
-
hmm. maybe i'll move it over to the escape position....
a coworker of mine produced a red PANIC keycap upon seeing this, but unfortunately it won't fit a Cherry stem.
-
I had to melt the stem and sand it down to get it to fit an ML switch. It could probably fit an MX switch if you fill it with some epoxy putty.
-
well, the PANIC one's not mine, so i'll pass on modifying it
but the X%! cap looks pretty great over in the Esc position, so i think it'll stay there.
-
lol, i need to get myself an any key, panic key, and @#!* key
Just because they would look awesome :\
-
ah yes, much better indeed
-
Did you buy the key, or did you make it? If you bought it, do they make one for Alps switches?
-
it was left behind by a coworker who recently retired. one of the desktop people pulled it off of his keyboard and left it on a shelf in the storage room.
-
I found a few online stores with a set of 8 keycaps, but they look a little cheesy. I did not find one that looks like yours, though.
-
can you post the link?
nevermind, i found them. you're right, not so great.
-
How about red colored?
