Title: Questions while designing a new case
Post by: swill on Sun, 01 December 2013, 12:25:13
I am working on a new case design right now (will describe better later), and I have some questions.

How hot do the diodes and resistors get on an led capable pcb?  Will I have problems if I completely remove airflow to the back of the pcb?

You really shouldn't have any problems at all if you do this, so don't worry about that.

Not enough to be a problem. Should be just fine. There are enough metal bits in contact with them to transfer heat up to the top surface in an extreme situation anyway.
