Goddammit Mionix. I buy my G600, and this comes out.
Anyways, thoughts on this? It seems cool to have a high-DPI Optical mouse, and I really like the shape. Any skeptics?

Meh.
-
I usually use DPI around 800-1600, any higher and I can't control it.
-
the specs may be good, dont know, I never ever gamed, but the shape is a meh.
what sort of idiot designed the top surface by keeping the finger support buttons straight for clicking the buttons? And who has a palm shaped like that mouse (L shape?). I probably think different, but top curve is a must.

If you're a Mionix Freak than why not. If not then there are a whole swag of other mice currently available for anyone out there. As much as I hate my Mionix rodents I still wouldn't mind trying out their Naos 7000. Unfortunately/fortunately it will only work in Windows 7 for me :thumb: .

Considering my experiences with the Naos 5k I would be extremely cautious. Either borrow one from a friend or buy it from somewhere that will let you return it hassle-free in case you don't like it. Although it looks like the best mouse to come out of Mionix so far.

Never said I'd buy one. I just said I wish I had waited.

Looks like the little brother of the Func. Looks comfy.

The Avior seems to be of a much nice size and shape to me.
I like their keyboard, and I like their logo, but the Naos shape does not appeal to me at all.
-
Each to their own haha I love the shape but I'd wait to get a new Mionix after they release a couple firmware updates to make sure it works
-
High optical DPI is a lie or so I've read.
This does seem nice for larger hands/palms.
I'd love to try it out at a local store first just to see what it's like.

Let me know which store allows that, I'll be there to try it out ;D .

They have a knack for making really ugly mice. I know function > looks, but still, I'd be so bothered having that on my desk (as well as the earlier models).
-
I love my Mionix mouse, so that definitely looks interesting to me. Pretty much that new Mionix mouse and the Cooler Master Storm Spawn are the only other mice I'd really like. Most other mice have horrible shapes, reliability issues, or just are too expensive for what you get.

I'm no FAN of these beggars because they are faulty as hell (bad firmware) when it comes to using certain Microsoft OS's BUT their SCROLL WHEELS are to die for.
I love the feel and precise movement you get from them as well as being so quiet, you can't disturb anyone next to you in bed :thumb: .
