Question though: What is the exact colour of the orange that SP will use? I've been a bit confused by the different shades shown like in the poly carb orange set.

You should get a custom color orange. Check out Pantone colors.

If this gets rolling why not post up on DT as well à la the DSA Retro GB and just keep it open until the quota is met? Or do you just wanna do this quick and dirty, which is totally understandable.

Because after about a month, sign ups start to atrophy and you lose as many early sign ups as you gain with leaving it open longer, for the most part.
And from history, DT doesn't match GH numbers (meaning, if GH signs up 100, DT signs a separate 100), either. And then, there's the typical "what about my layout" that has destroyed every other potential GMK full set buy.
I'm almost sure the Cherry Replica Legends are not compatible with DSA keys. You may want to check with SP.

I'm new to key caps and such, so does that mean if you use DSA you can change a layout to dvorak or colemak without worrying it'll be all weird?
