Can't believe I'm posting this as I've wanted this code key for ages but I'm broke as hell so I'd rather it went to a GH'er than some random eBay plebian :P
MX switches, doubleshot caps. Very hard to come by, I've had an eBay alert for this for ages and this is the first one I've seen in the last 6 months.

If someone buys this I want first dibs in the event you ever decide to sell it!

I put in 10 $ for bueller to buy it!

I have a blue code key.
And I've always wanted the green one...

When someone calls himself Hellocodes, you know he's going to bid strongly against you for a Code key :p

Nice one! What was your best offer? ;D

What an awesome seller! Accepted my offer of $35 plus shipping. Seller got a better deal than expected on Fedex shipping, since I'm only ~350 miles away. Refunded me $15 on shipping!

I thought it would of gone for much more! I didn't really look up prices tho. I think I paid ~$30-40 just for my blue code key :P

do all typerighters like these have cherry keys? I saw a brother typerighter at a thrift shop with a similar layout

No idea but what, you don't keep a keypuller in your pocket for just such emergencies? :)) if the thing is physically in front of you, you could pull a key in the interest of science. They are trying to sell the thing, after all.

Not a standard size though, practically unusable.

Code key? I would've bid just for the teal legends.

Hmmm...
I have a green code key.
And I've always wanted a blue one...
Also, as far as keycaps, the gray ones are probably PBT dyesubs - or at least the caps that came with my Alpha 110 were dyesubs.

Nope, but a few of the Triumph Adler/Royal models of a certain vintage have MX compatible keycaps with Cherry legends. We have a small wiki entry for typewriters (hardly complete and probably not up to date):

There are also TA/Royal typewriters with Cherry style legends that are not MX compatible... unless you can verify the model, it's hard to know what you are getting.

Very nice pickup.
I got my green code key from this exact same model.
It has black MY switches, not MX :( but hey the keys fit MX switches anyways so who really cares

I really want teal doubleshots now...

I've never had anyone complain about me popping off a key when thrift shopping.
Then again, I usually end up buying something, so they get my $

Thanks, bueller!

No worries mate, you know who to speak with if that code key go unused :)

good for ergoDOX. I'd be interested if the price weren't so high.

There's also this one with a nice blue on grey set.

Sadly, it's Cherry MY, so no selling the switches to recoup some costs. Still a sexy set that someone may have the money for.

Damn, awesome deal. That keyset is one of my favorites out there. I just absolutely love the color. Can't wait to see what you put it on and how it turns out.

Had it on me, the keys felt like rubber domes so I didn't want to pop the key out. the shop was really small too, and I didn't want to get in any trouble

Satellite 4 is dyesubs, has the 1.5 CODE key but it's actually a row C profile even though they put it on the bottom. I don't remember if those have MY or MX linear clears. If it has MX it might be worth that price since linear clears are the bomb.
