Title: Newly found keyboard enthusiast
Post by: joostflux on Sun, 08 December 2013, 01:44:54
Hello all! I have very recently been bitten by the keyboard bug. First is was the "build a computer" bug, then of course "upgrade said computer", all the way to "build a custom water cool loop" and of course all of this has happened within less than a year. Now I fear that a new bug has bitten me and I'm completely unsatisfied with my Corsair K95 (AKA Desk-Eater) and its bleh Red switches. Time to switch and I figured this would be a good place to find some info and possibly make a few friends (wow that was lame). Thanks for having me and I'm looking forward to this new obsession.

Cheers  :D

Welcome to GeekHack! I'm new too, but I like to pretend I'm not. ;)

Thanks for welcome :)

I also realized that I wrote I had the K95 and I don't, I have the K90. Whoops! Definitely looking for something different though.

Welcome!  Any ideas on what new keyboard you'd like next?

welcome!

that is a pretty standard pattern, now that you are bitten by the kb bug the fun can really begin!
are you looking to get a smaller kb to save space?
there are plenty of options.
do you like the linear aspect of your reds, or do you want to get a clicky board?

Yes, and no. I think I am primarily just looking for something different, a change of pace really. I am leaning towards a smaller keyboard for the looks mostly. The one I'm looking into most at the moment is a Poker II.

No, not at all. After trying out blues for a good 15 minutes at Frys I can safely say that I don't like my reds at all anymore. Almost positive I want blues.
