I really like good Thinkpad keyboards. I like the heaviness, the stability, and the "German engineering" quality feel of them.
What standalone keyboards are most like them?

How about an actual standalone thinkpad keyboard? http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=32447.msg614243#msg614243
Also, "German engineering"?? Thinkpad designed by IBM, made in China...
Edit: Another one http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=49084.0

Thanks for the suggestions!

Haha, yes I knew even as I typed it that people would make that point. :)
Also, are there keyboards that are "Thinkpad style" but better? Is that what Topre keyboards are like?

Mechanical keyboards are very different from any rubber dome. Topre feel quite opposite, they're very smooth with a rather minor bump. Something that feels more like a thinkpad would probably be ergo-Clear switches or so.
