lasered keycaps, should be brown switches. Auction ends in 18 hours. If you can get it near starting bid it seems a good deal.

That's clearly doubleshots in the photos.

$37.50 shipping for me
-
Ivan is right, they are doubleshots. And Cherry browns underneath. But the model seems off.
Ivan, do you have any info on the G80-8963LUBUS (which is what the seller called it)? I thought L was Lasered and U is blacks?
12 hours left, hope it goes to one of us for the starting bid!
For shipping, I looked and found it to be $19 if you choose Economy Shipping over Expedited Shipping.

It looks like someone bid on it ...
-
Would this model need a moogle kit for a Filco?
-
all keycaps should fit except for the spacebar. Ask Ivan for confirmation. I have a similar model G80-8113, but Ivan will probably tell you that Cherry Corp likes to mess around with stabilizer placements for fun.
For 30 shipped with doubleshots, it is indeed cheap. Even at today's lowered prices, brown switches alone are worth more than that.

Tell me about it. Tried to flip the spacebar on my 11900, it felt really weird, then realized the middle stab was off place.....and it was 6x.....

If any of you get it, sell me the full touch caps lock plz
-
Shipping is 71$ for me lol
-
have already told you, murdercore, get your Cherrys in Europe. There are e-recyclers operating out of Bulgaria and you should be able to get something for the price of a thrift store equivalent in the US!

So did someone from here get this...I was going to bid and completely forgot...dang it....
-
Yeah, I managed to snag it - shipping was $19 and change, so it'll be just over $30 shipped. Now I just need to track down a replacement for that #3 key :D

I am looking in ebay but nothing cheap so far, everything is either expensive by itself or with some insane shipping ;(

Congrats!!

Thanks! Were you going to bid for the board/switches? I'm really only in this for the caps :-[

Give them switches to me then! :D :p

congrats, I feel good about having another successful Great Find! And hey, if you don't want the switches, why don't you sell them cheap to Murdercore? He seems pretty switch-deprived... :p (I am thinking of the word Switch as in Whip, heh.)

Congrats, glad it went to a GHer. Was about to bid on it when ebay kicked back on me for not having a linked paypal and I said screw it. :P

Just got this in yesterday and I've got a couple questions, as these are my first original Cherry keys - wondering if anyone can help:
-A lot of these keys fit REALLY loose, like if I quickly slide one of my fingers off of one the arrow keys, it'll pop right off the switch - is that normal?
-The relegendable covers don't really lock onto the caps well at all, is that also normal? I suppose I should have paid more attention that those covers are on all Function row/Arrows/Insert Cluster, as I'd prefer normal ones :-[
-
I can't ever recall having problems with keycaps flying off when typing it. Not sure why they would be so very loose, but you can always cut little square of saran wrap so it goes inside the stem with the switch to lock them on. On the relegendables, yes the lens often get loose if they have been snapped on and off many time.
