I'm in the market for a new Noppoo, it's always been my favourite keyboard and since it broke I've been to 2 keycools and a filco and I still prefer the Noppoo, so I was wondering if you guys could tell me what version this Noppoo is, it looks like the 2012 edition to me.

One of the problems that I and a lot of other people seemed to experience with this keyboard was that after a while, they would experience somewhat serious keybouncing/chattering, I don't want that to happen again as for a smaller keyboard, it is somewhat expensive.
But yeah to sum up, it doesn't seem to have any information about any product numbers or anything like that so I'm just wondering what version this may be? It looks like one of the earlier 2012 iterations to me.

0.o why would you choose the noppoo over the filco?

The noppoo chocs are insanely good keyboards, and to be honest they offer you more then the overrated filco for less the money. Don't hate me on this i just don't ride on the filco over all train with most of the guys here because i see nothing so special about them that can justify the huge price that you have to pay for them over other keyboards that will serve you just as well or even better for a LOT less money. I friend of mine got the broken noppoo that the OP sold me and he is super happy with it after i fixed it.

qtan (sold many Noppoos over ebay and his store) reports of a not so good quality... Iirc he reports some pcb failures more than for other keyboards.
I personal faced never a problem with my 4 Choc mini.
For the ebay listing:
Only one picture shows the new version and there is red marked: "New Version"
To be shure I would ask the seller.

I just don't like the filco and they even though I have the tenkeyless version, it feels to wide for me and I just don't like using it what so ever, I prefer the 85% keyboards (keycool and the noppoo, I'm going to sell the one that I have at the moment).
Maybe, I'm a bit silly but I just love the Noppoo and tbh, if it didn't break I would never of switched to other keyboards like I have done.

New Noppoo version is with improved white printing, so looks more clear.

Is the backlit version available anywhere? If so, I would get that. Or maybe try the Keycool 84 backlit?

I like the layout, same as the keycool 84 and similar to matias mqp, except the noppoo is wireless.
I found a backlight 2m version here: http://www.offerany.com/p-27378576440-84--2-Wireless-/-wired-Dual-mode-Keyboard-Ordinary-/.html

I saw Amazon has the keycool 84 with backlits for different switches.
you may have a look there.
