Mostly because I covered the ErgoDox in some depth in my previous posts on the topic:

I'm pretty sure I posted that heart shaped keyboard somewhere on geekhack last spring :)
This blog is a lot of fun to read. I like seeing the development through the lens of a programmer. I have the opposite situation: I'm better with the mechanical/hardware side of keyboards than the programming side.It turns out that there's great opensource firmware these days. If you pick a standard microcontroller and build neat hardware, firmware will not be an issue.
Oh and your keyboards and their iterations are fantastic. I hope you keep posting/working on these ^__^.

Very nice! Please post a design / build log of this one if you find the time / inclination. It looks like a winnerThanks! I'm starting to hit the point where I may need to be a little bit circumspect about what I post, since I'm heading toward something I hope to produce commercially, but you'll see something about this once it's done.
I..still type QWERTY, though the keyboard also speaks Dvorak, Colemak, Workman and a variant of Maltron.
(even though I do prefer angled thumb buttons and tenting, but you have to have separate PCB's then).I prefer tenting, too. But I'm at the point where I need to take into account what I'll be able to get produced in quantity for a sane cost.If I may ask, which character layout do you use?
I've been following your progress since your first ErgoDox build and I've been in awe by how quickly you've learned and applied all the disciplines necessary to get you to this point.
It's nice to see radially placed thumb keys on your design. I've been playing around with the concept and think it's a winner. The only snag is its ideal radius and placement may be somewhat hand specific.
I like it.
