Not a bad deal if you want one of these and don't want to pay the, roughly, $200 it will cost you to get one imported from Japan.
Check it (http://cgi.ebay.com/Filco-tenless-with-brown-cherry-switches_W0QQitemZ250363867164QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCA_Mice_Trackballs?hash=item250363867164&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234|66%3A4|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A200)

Is this bigpook's 'board, or does there happen to be someone else from Ellenton, FL that owns a Cherry brown Filco tenkeyless, too?
-
Yes, that would be mine. I highly doubt that ANYONE in ellenton, fl would even know what a filco was : )

THIS is exactly what tipped me off. So, bigpook, you are not going to try to be the Filco Tenkeyless King anymore?

Well, I was not the self-proclaimed King of the Tenkeyless that I was made out to be. That title was thrust upon me by my fellow geekhackers. At the time, I accepted it gladly.
However, it was a heavy crown to bear and feel that it is time to pass the mantle to some other deserving person.
I do like the brown cherries though, but I think I like the white xm and blue cherries better. There are only so many keyboards I need to keep in the collection. This will be the first one to go.
-
I feel you. I am seriously debating if I want to sell some of my collection now that I have found a keyboard I think I will be happy with for quite some time. I can see keeping some of the vintage 'boards due to their rarity, but some of the newer 'boards could probably go. The problem is, most of my 'boards fall into the vintage category.

Besides, he never deserved the title anyway, he never had one with Cherry blacks! :p
-
lol, that would have been interesting to try out though. But to be honest, I can probably wittle it down to the model m mini, HHKB, and the filco tenless with blue cherries, and the white xm.
Not sure if I would have liked the cherry blacks....don't enable me : ) I have already spent way more money than I wanted to : )

down to four? Thats not bad. I'm down to two, and hopefully soon down to one. DOesnt mean I wouldnt buy better versions of that one later on, but for now, I too have.....

I would like to get that down to two also. Its a hard choice for me right now to do that though.

I'm not even sure what I'd sell.
AEK2: I hate it, but it's better than the AK2, and I need SOMETHING ADB for the IIGS.
AK2: Might as well keep some spare parts around, so if the AEK2 fails, I've still got something to use with the GS, or to go with the other GS that might get resurrected.
EnduraPro: It has its uses...
1391401: No. Besides, if I get this Risc PC I'm looking at, I'll need a PS/2 keyboard.
The other 1391401: That's my mom's keyboard, now.
That Lexmark M I've got: Parts for the 1391401s.
Scorpius M10: Seeing as it's my favorite keyboard right now...

Sounds like you are already at a good place. After thinking about it I would probably keep not only the model m mini, I would keep the 1391401 too. I don't like numpads but that is a classic keyboard to me.
Maybe I can just keep it at five.
How about other users here? How many is too many? How many is enough?

I have over ten just with mechanical keyswitches, to say nothing of my myriad rubber dome boards:
4x IBM Model M 1391401: One is in bad cosmetic condition (upside down IBM logo, several replacement keycaps), one has spacebar issues. I can sell two.
3x Focus FK-2001. One has real white ALPS, I can sell that. The other two are PoS with worn out fake alps. I can pitch them after salvaging keycaps.
Cherry G80-11800. This is my favourite keyboard at the moment. I'm keeping it.
Dell AT101W. I'm keeping it or giving it to my sister.
Cherry G84-4100. Currently discombobulated pending replacement of a few switches I broke. I need a compact keyboard so I'm keeping it.
3x Cherry G81-8000. I hate the keyfeel, but they're credit card reader boards. I'm selling all three and I hope to make enough profit to cover my keyboard buying spree this winter.
-
Well, I think it's the last phase of the journey to reduce the number of keyboards to the few ones you like the most. I'm currently in phase I, so I'm still accumulating piles of keyboards to try and explore. There are obviously some dedicated collectors who are being trapped in phase I forever :)
-
Yes, that would be mine.
Crap, I was gonna try to snipe it to use at work.
