CPTBadAss' prescription for happiness:
Ice cream. Take at least once daily. Repeat until happy. Doesn't matter what the weather is like.

Half a pint? I'm not sure. "Ice cream" is a dosage amount isn't it? :P

I don't eat a lot of ice cream anymore (except a little during the summer, hand made one is crazy good). But when I was a teenager, there was a winter where they were selling a 4l of Rolo ice cream and I was eating it in like 2 days. I don't know how my body could consume all of it. Let's say I was not watching my weight at that age (and didn't need to). Not the same today. I would be ill for a week if I ate the same way I did, and I still eat a lot (got to maintain some reputation).

I don't like the butterfingers-edition, because it sticks to my molars. Same goes for the "Heath" version...

Ben and Jerry's VS Haggen Daz
The eternal struggle. Used to be a strict B&J guy, but as I got older I realized Haggen Daz is a higher quality and tastier ice cream. I still occasionally get B&J when they introduce a new flavor or whenever they bring back Festivus(the best flavor ever.)

I'm not sure about this, but I think maybe H-D has the technology edge (germans) where the consistency / texture of the Icecream is better and smoother..
Whereas at Ben and Jerry, a few times I recall a bit of watery/icy-ness in a couple of bites.

Well it's like, HD focuses on solid more standard flavors, and B&J goes for the crazy approach throwing in a bunch of mix-ins. I've never had watery B&J though, maybe your's was old or you bought light or yogurt by mistake? If anything, B&J has more air in it and is lighter/fluffier than HD, but HD is denser and creamier.
