I have ANSI, I don't even know the sizes. I'm new here. I really want to make my keyboard interesting but I'm scared to buy the wrong things. I have blank keycap so if there is a blank set would be even better :)

Only concern is the space bars. What are their widths and would they fit on a Filco?

Stabilizer receptacles are the same as the switch receptacles (all of which fit MX switches)?

Both Cherry Profile?

Both ABS?

Both Cherry (one looks different than the other...)?

Are they still available? Dibs on this set if one of spacebars is 6.25, Cherry Profile, Modern Cherry Stabilizers, mountable on a Filco MJ2.

If I didn't doublebox and sent it in ONLY the retail box I could send it for $35 instead. Good packing puts it just over weight limit for non priority cheap shipping.

I was wondering how much you would charge for the ANSI PCB + beige winkeyless shell + beige cable, like you mentioned in a previous post. But yes, I think you're right. I was just curious how much it would cost if I were to buy it from you.

On the Alcatel set, if it was complete it wouldn't do any good. The backspace, return and right shift were all bizarre sizes that don't fit on any other keyboards really.

The board is ISO, not ANSI, so you can't use an US layout. You can use an UK layout though.

I do it on every ISO keyboard I have when I use them because I see no reason to change my US system keymap. Usually the 105 'extra' key near left shift is a redundant \| key, on some system it may just do nothing instead. Brown switch ISO board without keycap... how about $30+shipping? and then I can sell the Portuguese set from it for $20+shipping.

Yeah my immediate thought was to rob it of its keys, but with such exceptional condition it would be a disservice like you said. I'm picturing using it at my office at work.

I've never used/built/programmed an Ardunio, so if you can help me figure out a solid solution to getting it to work I will likely get the board from you.

Which Arduino would I need? Could I do it with the most basic $30 one?

Other than looking into it a little bit and coming upon that project. I am sure there are other people on the forums that would be of great help to get it done though if you need more assistance.

The 3000 does have vintage blacks as well. All you would need for that is AT to PS/2 plug or replace the cable and you would be ready to go. It's pretty nice keyboard too, it's essentially like new. One thing I forgot to note on that one, it have half finished in switch lock led mod. The PCB is different than the others I have done and I never figured out where I needed to add/remove jumper to get them working. I can put the above numpad led lock indicators back if you like though.

I mounted the beige cable and put on my round 1 + 2 dyesubs. It's close enough to the HASRO as far as i'm concerned. Only weird thing about the board seems to be when I first plug it in, the "]" key spams until i hit backspace, then it's fine until I need to press it again, then it spams again. I'll probably swap the switch out at some point, hoping that's all it is. Thanks again!

I blew the switch out, but who knows. I'll swap a different pcb base in after dinner, hope that is all is needed. No worries either way.

I gave the production error keys in each order as well, so I am sure you could find one from someone else that has no use for it.

I tried to do it, and got 7 diode on and 1 resistor... kind of and nearly lost my mind. I simply don't have the patience and ability to hold such tiny things still in order to get them attached with a standard iron. There is zero chance I can finish it myself and I am not interested in any way to buy other soldering gear as I have no intention of ever considering doing SMD anything ever again.
All the switches are already on, as are the red LED. The rest of switch will get white LED which I will do later.
I will send the PCB and all SMD parts needed. I will pay shipping both ways and your fee for this service.
