Title: Santa Con 2013 in NYC

Do any of you know about Santa Con?  It's g*d-damned horrible.  I got accosted by two drunken fools in red sweaters and white pants on my street today.  The stale alcohol on their breath nearly blinded me.  What they were doing so many blocks East of their stupid Santa Con, I have no idea.   (neither did they, I guess.)

Sounds horrible if you're near, but not part of it. Although it could be fun if you were partaking.

I heard about this on radio. The host was talking about how some of these Santas creeped out his kids. I used to live in a area filled with hippies (and those types) so yea I can imagine how terrible and annoying these things are.

SantaCon is a very fun event where we dress up as Santa and bar hop. We then proceed onto having more fun by hanging out with other people dressed up as Santa.

Just to be clear, I'm not anti-Christmas.  And I don't hate Santa Claus.  I just hate the crowd of marauding hooligans who flood into Manhattan just to get drunk and pee and puke on our sidewalks on Santa Con Saturday.  Santa Con happens every year, and it starts at 10 a.m.  Yes 10 in the morning, and they arrive already drunk.  At 10 a.m.  The NYPD is trying to shut down Santa Con, the west side neighborhood of Chelsea/Clinton effectively blocked Santa Con from coming to their area of town, and everybody else hates it.  The only ones who like it are the drunks themselves (I assume) and the bar owners who make money selling alcohol to alcoholics. 

The people who participate in Santa Con are not good-natured hippies, or hipsters, or merry revelers.  They're just a bunch of regular losers who can't moderate their alcohol intake.  And once they start drinking, they seem to lose control their bodily functions in public, often, like every other block.  And in their pants.  It's disgusting to see.   

Anyway, only 362 days until next Santa Con!  Make your travel plans now!  (to get out of Manhattan.)

I personally find hippies really annoying but that's probably just a thing here in SF/Berkeley.

So, nobody here is assuming or stated that you hate Christmas or Santa Clause but now we can accuse you of being a Manhattan elitist.
No love for Brooklyn?
