So they are clicker toys, eh?

I have never tried any clicking toy ... but I think that IBM Beam spring has been described as sounding like them.
I think that vintage clicking calculator keypads would sound a little bit like them, but they have very short key travel, sub-mm.

What sound does a crocodile make?
And what are those wooden things?

This lady ruined her clicker with a dampener, but you can get a sense of the glorious noise tin clickers can make.

SKIP TO 00:51    GH won't let me link the video from a specific start time

OK. Well, if the clicker toys sound like the clickers in the video, then beam-springs and calculators don't really sound that loud.

I also think that a great clicky keyboard switch should only have one sound: the click on actuation, no sound at all on the rebound and the sound on bottoming out being irrelevant ... because you force curve of the switch after actuation would ramp up and thus discourage you from bottoming out, with the bottom very low.
Some clicky keyboard switches click twice: once on actuation and once on the way back up, which I think is crap.

Brings back a few memories - we used to have ladybirds.

My daughter would probably love these.

I would be really happy too, but not so much my family. It would probably get annoying after ~20 minutes or so. Still fun! :p
