Looks quite interesting, maybe that keyboard is older than mine. I think similar controller chip from memory (actually I was about to post and double check the photos of my APC Clicker F-21 but the photo was so blurry I decided to not post it up).

Though there are a couple of notable things:
I think this may interest Daniel Beardsmore.  ;D
Here (http://eidolon-sapphire.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/revisiting-some-old-school-keyboards.html) is the link to my blog which I covered two Alps based keyboards. One is genuine Alps and the other is basically APC membrane.

Ah, those switches ...

There's a ton of 'em. Some are branded KPT, which are from a company called Keypot. Some are branded TEC. There are also various unbranded varieties. It's extremely hard to unravel, as most of these companies (except KPT, who were fairly prominent) seem to have been short-lived, and I can't work out what went on there.

I have no expectation of ever figuring these out.

The Alps vortex cannot truly be conquered; I simply tracked down most if not all of the major brands by way of the existing companies who sell or previously sold the switches. These companies are all gone and have taken their secrets to the grave with them.

I have seen switches exactly like that in the thrift shop that just turned out to be rubber domes with sliders.

They're not Alps. They're a mixture of Alps and SMK designs, with the three legs from Omron.
