Please help. I'm confused and now getting desperate
I am in the UK and assembling a KMAC2 keyboard. I have everything I need except stabilizers.
Which type will work on my PCB and which type will work on my plate?
Which ones are the best?
Where in the UK can I get them?
Can someone give me an explanation of the difference between plate and PCB mounted stabilizers in general?
Will Costar stabilizers fit?
Thanks Guys.

Cherry PCB stabilizers,
I believe people take them off of Leopold or Poker keyboards..
as for 7x spacebar they bend a new wire I believe.

Why not costar stabalizers?

Why not costar stabalizers?
As far as I am aware the KMAC do not support Costar only cherry stabs.

Costar stabilizers are plate mount, and the KMAC does not support plate mount stabs.

I suggest to grab some cheap G80 1000/3000 winkeyless off German ebay or something. Most of time there is something to find for under 20EUR and you get all the stabs, some switches and nice keycaps. Example (http://www.ebay.de/itm/Cherry-G80-1501HAD-09-Tastatur-mit-Chipkartenleser-fur-KVK-/111237008346?pt=DE_Computing_Tastaturen_Keypads&hash=item19e63e0bda).

I agree with Ivan. I also did the same with a Wyse PCE board.

All my cherry stabilizers were salvaged from old cherry boards. Costar stabs can be bought from WASDkeyboards.com, however as it was mentioned, the KMAC 2 sadly doesn't accept these.
